WHY CHOOSE HILL & COX

Management Style

Hill & Cox Corporation is a hands-on construction company.  An owner of Hill & Cox will be on the jobsite several times a week to meet with you and the team to understand and execute your desires for the project.  We are fully involved in each aspect of the project.  The person you interview for the job, work with during the preliminary design phase, develop construction cost, solicit bids with, attend weekly job meetings and call after the job is complete is the same person.  We believe many companies lose interpretation and communication by changing personnel from one phase to the other.

Geography

We are available and in close proximity to your project site.  If any questions arise from you or the design team, we can be on site quickly.  We believe the job is not over when the project is complete.  We don’t promote that we build a perfect building, but we do stand behind what we build.  Warranties are nice, but our reputation is much more important.  We are just a phone call away and can address any warranty/construction issues immediately.

Economics

We have an extensive list of subcontractors and suppliers statewide.  More importantly, we understand which local contractors and suppliers are capable of performing the work.  We are executing projects up to 40 million dollars, but still bid projects as small as 1 million dollars.  This keeps our “pencils sharpened.”  We do not have middle management which adds expense to the project.  In the end, it boils down to philosophy.  We work with your money like it is ours.  We want the best value, not necessarily the cheapest price, for your desires.  The money we spend goes into your local economy.

Take the Next Step

Our long-term goal with every client is to build relationships. We believe that good relationships are a vital part of architecture. This allows us to complete projects with excellence and to meet our client’s exact needs.
